Neutral but easy kitchen design app/service

Our kitchen was old when we moved into our house 8 years ago - it was from Magnet. It's a really small space and though we liked the job the same company did on our old kitchen this one is way smaller - to have a full height fridge we have to have it in the dining room, almost a full wall of the dining room is the old range alcove/chimney nook plus a doorway.
We do have cupboard storage in the dining room and a large Welsh dresser so that some of the pressure is taken off the kitchen.
But I'm not keen on using a single company design system - is there anything easy to use but not run by one company?

Im not sure on the independent apps, I do know Ikea are particularly good at kitchens in small spaces and have some really smart options too.

It might at least give us some ideas!

Hmm ok "easy to use" doesn't really describe it!
It keeps locking in my measurements when I need to move a door etc.
