I am looking into an induction hob with venting. It will go on an island. I am a little confused about the ducting. I have read it can just recirculate under the cabinet, or it can be vented out to the kick board, with a 3rd option of venting to the outside. Looking for the simplest workable solution. Only 2 people in our household, don't regularly use hob for boiling veg, maybe monthly when family are round. The kitchen space is big, with plenty of ventilation, we'll be adding an extractor fan on an outside wall.. Is it ok just to vent into cabinets?
