Carpet fitting

Hello. I have just moved into a property and am having all new carpets/flooring put in next Friday. I wasn’t able to do it before I moved in so now all of the furniture is in.

Does anyone have any advice about what I need to move/take out of the rooms etc. and how best to prepare. This is keeping me awake at night right now.

all advice much appreciated.

Can you clear the biggest room on each floor so they have somewhere to start and then move stuff into those rooms once they are done. Do they know the house is full of furniture? Can you move stuff into rooms which aren't being carpeted like the bathroom and kitchen? Don't block the hallways though or they won't be able to get the carpets in!

Thanks @GeneticsbunnyThey are doing the whole house including bathroom and kitchen and will do it all in one day. They know the furniture is in. Think I will move everything into kitchen and bathroom or as much as I can so they can carpet and then move it all out. Am sure they will tell me what to do and I am probably overthinking it!
