Porch extension costs

Could someone who has recently had a porch extension done, give an idea as to what it cost you. We have had plans drawn up and approved by the local authority for a wrap round porch to include a downstairs toilet. The quotes we have had are all around the £35k mark, for which is in fact a very small space. We do need the additional coat and shoe storage and plan to bring the front door forward to give us a bigger entrance (currently we open door straight onto stairs). Due to the high quote, we are looking at just the porch extension now - no wrap round and no downstairs toilet. We do already have two bathrooms upstairs.

OMG I've got an appointment for a quote for a bog standard porch, that quote is quite high

Interested as planning to buy in the spring and some of the houses in one location i’m thinking about (will be relocating 250 miles and have 3 very different locations that i’m weighing up within commute to office i’ll be based at) have a front door that opens into the living room which i’m not keen on. I stayed at a similar house last Christmas and they’d built a small porch.
