Someone else has put in an offer on the house we desperately want but it hasn't been accepted yet.
Problem is we can't put in an offer till we're under offer ourselves but we've had no takers yet.
We need a buyer now.
Please send me some good luck vibes - I'm desperate!!!

We upped our offer but they're still going with the other buyers (fools).
No doubt we'll find something even better soon.

Don't give up just yet - with the way buyers are trying to re negotiate down prices or pull out entirely at the last minute before exchange you may have them come back to you. Keep in touch with the selling agent, ring them weekly to let them know you are still very keen and willing to move quickly should anything fall through or they re-think, you just never know. In the meantime look for a plan B, there are some great bargains to be had.

As of yesterday our competition are 1 week in to their 28 exchange deadline, the selling agent rang us to get an update - signs are good if we can just get our home let. One cancelled letting viewing yesterday, 2 hours before appointment, booked last week, but had a drive by over the weekend and decided they could not fit their boat on our drive - our neighbours would have loved that ! Another one today at 4pm, heres hoping. xx

You're right. The other buyer is at the beginning of the buying process so there's always the chance that it could fall through. I feel bad hoping someone's sale collapses.
The agent did say that if there's even a hint of the buyer messing around on the price or dragging his feet then we've got first refusal on it.
We haven't even started looking for a tenant yet but our house is very rentable imo. Got the get the mortgages agreed first.
Good luck with your viewing.

Been looking at more houses but none compare to the one we lost for size and location.
Will prob wait for bargains to come on the market and try to have the mortgages agreed so we can move fast when the time comes.
