I'm sorry to put such a question on here but it's late and you guys have always been very helpful.
So after weeks of nothing I've finally heard back from my solicitors and things are happening. I've come home from work, checked my emails and there's lots of activity, things to read and sign etc.
Anyway, my solicitors has sent me my mortgage report and on it it says "Your Lender requires us to check whether the assumptions made by the valuer of a legal nature are correct. As most lenders do not send us a copy of the valuation report, please supply a copy, if you have not already done so."
Well I've not done so and I don't know where that would be. I've got my mortgage offer letter which lists all the details you would expect to see and on the very last page there is a list of possible charges for things. That's the only place that mentions a valuation fee and that's free. But I've not been given a copy.
Do I just ask for one? is it that simple?
