Karndean in the living room?

Would you have karndean in the living room? Have decided against wood flooring for now as too expensive and also worried about it getting damaged while children are small.

So now I'm thinking maybe karndean or laminate? Or what?

Don't want carpet.

I personally wouldn't, although I have it in the hall, utility and kitchen, but for our house it would be OTT in the living room as well. Also if you're not that sure, karndean would be a complete pita to remove. Personally I'd wait until I could afford real wood or have a really decent carpet.
