Ceiling extractor replacement

We had a Westin ceiling extractor fan with an external motor fitted over 12 years ago when we were renovating our house (builder has now retired). The remote control aspect of it has always been a bit crap and Westin's aftersales were more than a bit crap. So we are going to replace it and we definitely want to change brands.
Which trade should we choose to install it and give us advice - an electrician or a builder or a kitchen fitter any idea?

These are not widely used, except in commercial kitchens. An electrician can do it, but not all will want to. I have seen the external fans listed on electrical wholesalers.

There are a few HVAC specialists, there are probably some in your area. Look for companies that do air conditioning.

It might be listed among the specialities on the "find a contractor" section of NICEIC.
