Hello! We are at the moment looking to move and have found a house we really like. It's a fair size and a lot of rooms. It needs a bit of work, but I think for the main part it is sound. Thing is the previous owner ripped out all the standard radiators, put in solar panelling and electric radiators. The old boiler is still in place as are the pipes. Has anyone else experienced electric radiators? I am worried that a, they will not be good enough to heat a big house properly and b, will cost an absolute fortune. May be cheaper in the long run to reconnect it all with new radiators.
Any thought and experience be hugely appreciated, thanks!
