How much for an Energy Efficiency Certificate?

I’m just in the process of selling and about to arrange an Energy Efficiency Certificate. Before I contact someone, does anybody have a rough idea how much it will cost?

We’re not using an Estate Agent so will be arranging this myself.

I had to get one last year, applying for a heat pump grant. Cost depends on size of property obviously. It was less than I expected, mine was well under £100. I shopped around and got it through this company who were quick and efficient.

I paid £60 earlier this year.

Do you mean get a new one as your old one has expired?

You can get existing EPCs for free from gov.uk.

If you need a new one there is also a list of accredited local assessors via the gov website.

No it’s for a house that hadn’t been sold on over 50 years.

Thanks to everyone who has answered. Now I know roughly how much they cost I’ll get on with sorting it out.
