Moving to Battersea

My husband and I have a toddler with plans for at least one more child in the near future (would love for 2 but will see what happens)! We are planning to move to Battersea to settle there semi-permenantly and raise our family there. We're drawn due to its closeness to the city centre and family who live in central london across the river, but still having a residential feel. We also love the availibility of bilingual schools and the french speaking community as we are a multilingual family. Wondering if anyone here had any insight? We like the St Johns Hill area, the area around Shaftesbury (but the cottage style houses seem a little small), and have also looked around shuttleworth road. Any opinions and advice would be welcome! Especially on schools. We are ethnic minorities as well so a diverse community is important to us.

Morgan's Walk is a riverside development close to Trott Street where the L'Ecole de Battersea is, and five minute walk to Chelsea over the bridge and near Battersea Park

I really like this development but not sold on the estate charges and the layout! I would have to do big renovations as I would want the kitchen on the ground floor. I'm up for a reno but want to avoid structural work if I can.

More looking for advice on the areas but we don't really want to go above 1.2. I do know our budget is fine for the areas we are looking at.
