Chattenden Area?

Heyy guys! Hows the chattenden area? We saw a house in the area and loved it but we don't know much about the area. Anyone familiar with the area?

Although it's not very big it covers quite a wide demographic. Which bit are you looking Lodge Hill or Hoo Common/Toad Hall?

Used to live there. It’s ok but it’s basically a village with a dual carriageway running through. We got fed up of having to drive everywhere so moved elsewhere.
depends what you’re looking for.

Absolutely agree wouldn't live there without a car as the bus service isn't great and the only shop within quick walking distance is the spar at the garage

@WilsonRemain @Daisy03 We have a car and the reason why we looking in the area is because we got strood and higham station nearby. We commute to London for work occasionally and also wanted a quieter area to raise a family but at the same time but close to town..

Rochester is within easy distance and lets you get to Victoria. Lots of people drive to Ebbsfleet too. Chattenden primary was a nice, little school (not sure now as my kids have been left a coupleof years). Be aware though it is a grammar area and if you don't pass the 11+ the nearest school is Hoo which isn't brilliant.
