Giving raw pine that scandi look

I’ve ordered two beds in “natural pine” for my 2 kids, I suspect this means untreated / raw which is fine, the look is almost where I want it.

Im thinking of using something to protect them and give them that Scandi look. Google is throwing up white wood soap, though I’ve never heard of it! Recently used osmo polyx oil on a table and it doesn’t work well on pine.

Any ideas/help appreciated. Keen for low voc/no voc ideally

I've seen people use a white wax to keep the wood light, or even a thin white paint like mist coat
