Single door in load bearing wall

Anyone used a company to install a standard single door in a load bearing wall. Did you need building regs? Thanks.

Any half decent builder should be able to this, very straightforward. Yes likely need building control approval if a structural wall and an appropriate lintel specification.

No lintel specified on structural plans covering wider works

Probably because just a basic lintel required then. If it’s in a wall over a single doorway without any other openings or loads to consider other than the wall itself over it then it’s easy.
