If there is a better location for my question let me know

Anyone had a telescopic post fitted to secure there car?
What post did you buy?
Any regrets / wishes you did anything different?

Anyone in the midlands UK that can recommend a company to install?

The only problem with telescopic is that they go deep which means more excavation and the risk of unearthing hurried services (drains, water, electric, gas, telephone etc).
Hinged posts are no good for anything other than reserving parking spots.

We have Centinel C1 posts in our driveway.
These are lift out to don't need to be so deep yet being designed as anti-ram posts, are super secure.
Fitted by my OH using normal DIY tools and a (good) SDS drill.
We brought them from our previous house and just bought new bases to concrete in.

C1 (or upgrade to C2) dig hole, concrete in place... job done
