Shared ownership lease

A house has just come on the market in my area. 50% ownership. The lease is showing as 71 years left. Estate agent was unsure but said its the buyers responsibility to extend the lease? Is that correct? Does anyone know how much it would be on a £100k 50% share of house?

Could you argue/lower price to say it should be sellers responsibility?

I'm not sure there is the right to extend shared ownership leases in the same way as other leasehold properties.

I've just found this which may help:
