Leak in a flat roof

We have a leak in a flat roof extension, is patching the way to go or is it normal to have the whole thing re done?

Roof is 4 years old. Property empty so no one noticed the build up in gutter.

We just had our 2 flat roofs done and every roofer we spoke to no longer does patching. They say its not the modern standard and just bodging it so now they do rubber roofs.

We got 2x 12m squared rubber roofs on our 2 extensions and they where £2k each (so £4k job over all).

I noticed every new flat roof in the area seems to be the rubber roof style as well.

Do you definitely have a leak or would clearing the gutter resolve this?

Water has come into the house :( so definitely a leak.
