Looking for new area to move

Hi all, my family just sold house in Barnsley. We looking to move little bit up north. I really appreciate if you could give suggestions/advice about nice villages/small towns with good schools around 1-1.3 hours drive from Leeds. (Can be little bit more Newcastle way). Our budget not the biggest up to around 260k. Ideally looking for 3-4bed semi or detach with bigger garden. Thank you :)

Have you been looking anywhere before you sold?

Hi, yes we were looking in area we are now, was planing not to change school for kids. It was couple we like, but now them houses are sold (agency didn't let us to give offer before we sold ours). And now we struggling to find anything suitable. If we need change school for kids we want to look more up north rather than move to another village in Barnsley :)
