Bifold cupboard doors

Hi all. I am currently designing a new kitchen and would really like a countertop dresser unit with bifold cupboard doors. It would work much better in our space than normal cupboard doors. Our kitchen range does not do this option. Do you think it’s possible for a fitter to make these by putting together two half width drawers and a hinge kit? Pretty useless at DIY so unsure what is do-able.

Kitchen unit doors are simple rectangles of MDF or similar material, usually delivered ready drilled for the special hinges, which locate In a special round pocket (you can also get surface-mounted hinges fixed just with screws, which I think are not as secure in MDF). A professional has the tools to cut these pockets in the right place.

I do not usually make kitchen units, but an experienced fitter can assemble bifold doors for you. Explain what you want before ordering, as there are various options.

IME Blum make the best range, though there are a few other quality brands.
