as per the above, the report has come back positive..

has anyone negotiated with vendor before for them to cover the Chancel Repair indemnity policy that’s comes to over £200 ?

Not sure what the current stance is if vendor or buyer should cover it ?

As far as I'm aware, the seller should always pay for any indemnity policies.

And your lawyer should go through it with a fine toothed comb to ensure it's not just some generic bs and that they're happy it fully covers its intended purpose. We had a generic one once and our solicitor just wouldn't accept it.
