Byfleet

We are thinking about moving to byfleet, saw a house around brookfields, Chertsey Road. Any insights would be great.
Interested to know if it's a good area and if its safe or not.
Also, how are the schools? I am seeing lots of houses in the market with people moving after 5y of buying, makes me wonder if the secondary schools in the region are good.

If you mean Chertsey Road near Brooklands, I wouldn't say that's a great location, no. You've got the M25 on one side, a massive retail park on the other, and the A245 is perma-busy as well. Byfleet & New Haw station, which is the closest one to that location, is only served by neither frequent nor fast services.

West Byfleet, on the other side of the M25, is much better.

Brooklands area is quite busy but there is a big Tesco and M&S, Lidl and Tkmaxx.

Fullbrook is the local secondary school, doesn’t have the best reputation. Not sure if you could get into Heathside, Weybridge?
