Hi

Im not sure if the grass I can see in pic (for house I’m purchasing) is growing out of damp proof course or the patio ?

surveyor hasn’t mentioned it in report - what does everyone else think or what extra checks can I do in this case ?

TIA

It's absolutely fine.
The grass is growing in the crack between your patio and the wall. Pour salt over it/or boiling water/or spray with weedkiller and it'll be dead in a couple of days.

Your damp proof course is 2 bricks up from the ground level

You shouldn't be buying a house.

Guffawed at that!

Don't worry OP, the grass is not a problem ...!

Are you sure it’s grass and not some rare form of Japanese Hogweed?

Really - a surveyor pointed out some random grass growing in the pavement cracks. OP you need to focus on the red items in the report!
