Wickes Refund but cabinet not collected?

Sorry for the boring thread...
We ordered some kitchen units for a new utility room from wickes, discovered one of them didn't fit, so I contacted wickes to ask if we could return it (it had been assembled but not damaged and the box thrown away).
They sais yes someone would contact me to arrange collection and just to pack it up in alternative packaging...
I thought, Brilliant!
But now they've refunded me, and nobody has contacted me to arrange collection... that was a week ago.
Anyone had this?

Send them an email asking if they are collecting it or if they want you to dispose of it. Make sure you have a paper trail.
I asked Robert Dyers to collect a faulty large item last week and they sent me an email a day later saying to keep/dispose of it and gave me a full refund.

Do you want them to take it away or just don't want to get in trouble for disposing of it yourself?
If you want rid then make a nuisance of it in the shop, if not just give them a time limit in writing eg 14 days, and say you'll consider it abandoned if they don't.

That is because Wickes are useless! They did our bathroom and 1 year after it was fitted they sent us another power shower pump for some unknown reason! I just kept it as dealing with their customer services makes you want to pound your head against a wall.
