We have a 1890s property in the living room there was a 70s fireplace we took this out so we can replace with a Victorian cast iron fire when we removed the old hearth we uncovered these beautiful tiles th we are cracked and chips in places however they are covered in cement. I have tried all sorts white vinegar and chemical cement remover however this is the best I can get them any ideas on what I can try. I’d love to keep them uncovered.
