Moving to the North East with my teens.
£200k budget, need good public transport, gym and near the coast would be a plus but as long as we're near by that's fine.
looked at Seaham as it was inbetween both.
Both DD are autistic so high school needs to have good SEN provision.
any suggestions?

Whilst house prices will be very cheap in Seaham and the coastline is beautiful it is still an area of deprivation. Have you looked at Whitley Bay further up the coast? Great transport links into Newcastle.

I think 200k in whitley bay wouldn't go that far these days. I don't think you'll struggle to find a gym. I'd focus on the schooling aspect
