Hello,

I want to redecorate my bedroom & living room. This will involve new radiators, new floor/carpet & I want to put in a fireplace surround plus put in fitted shelves in the alcoves and fitted wardrobes.

What's the order of doing stuff?

Radiators, then shelves/wardrobes, then decorate, then flooring.

@R0ckandHardPlace thank you. When should the fireplace go in? Also should I pull back the old carpet to put in the wardrobes and cupboards?

I want to put flooring in the living room eg lvt. Does that go in after alcove cupboards & fireplace or before?

Will you need any electrical work? That needs doing early on too.

I want to just change the light fitting but no other electrical work

I would do it after. You dont want built in cupboards and the fireplace to go on top of it incase you want to change it in future. People change flooring more often than fireplaces and built in cupboards.
