Buyers survey & holes in external brickwork

Hello!

Please excuse the panicky post as we have already had one sale fall through and are holding onto our onward purchase by the skin of our teeth it feels!

New buyers survey has flagged these holes to the external brickwork on our house.

I have always assumed these were left from old plumbing (kitchen exterior wall), perhaps the kitchen layout was changed at some point before our ownership?

They are all stuffed with some sort of wire wool.

These are under a ginnel at the side of our house so sheltered somewhat from rain & weather so I have always just left them alone and never had any issues.

Would you fill them in? And if so, what would be the best way?

Buyer not making a big fuss but has asked about them and so I am panicking!

There are 3 all similar sizes. They don't appear to be uniform in anyway, just dotted randomly across the wall at different heights (I presume for different plumbing or appliances).

I would think they are from plumbing too. They should be filled with a brick cut to size and mortared in. The wire wool is probably to stop mice or rats coming in.
