Installer for retrofitting wunda underfloor heating in London -

Hello

I am planning to fit wunda underfloor heating as part of a sequential refurb of the ground floor of my house. I am also looking to change flooring as part of this refurb.

I am guessing the ufh installer will not put the floor on top? I need recommendations for both (probably). I do have a builder who will do some other internal work - is it advisable to get him to change the floor or getting a specialist floor layer (who may also install the ufh).

I dont have any experience in this, so looking for recommendations of firms or individuals to do this in London. Most other friends have done major refurb and their builders installed ufh as part of that but my builder doesnt seem to want to do this.

Also, where do people typically get their manifold installed? Is there any consideration on location?

We have this sort of underfloor heating and our manifold is in our cellar which probably isn't very helpful! The manifolds are quite large the back of a cupboard with an access panel would. Probably be sensible.
When you say sequential refurb do you mean that you are doing a room at a time?

I probably need a plumber to lay it since it's wet, not electrical.
@Geneticsbunny yes - sort of. Doing the living room and entrance hallway now and then the kitchen needs a refurb but later, given the cost.
