Bath shower mixer recommendation

Hi, can anyone recommend a bath / shower mixer tap? Needs to be mounted on the bath as wall mounting is not possible. We’re looking for one which has a dial for temperature and another to switch between off/bath/shower. We can find these for wall mounted ones but not yet for those mounted on the bath itself…thanks in advance

I think your issue is that most, if not all, fixed baths have separate hot and cold taps rather than a single adjustable temperature water feed.

Can you confirm that there is only one tap hole on your bath - or is it freestanding?

You need a thermostatic deck mounted bath shower mixer.

Ive had cheap ones (£40-£50), that last 4 or 5 years and then then thread in the on/off side usually goes. Very easy to just swap out for another identical one - leaving the deck mounting legs in place.

One pictured was the first result on goggling, but Mira is a reasonable brand.

On mine, the bath flow rate is quite a lot slower than separate taps was.

Search for: "single lever mono bath shower mixer with shower kit" or "1 tap hole bath shower mixer" on Victorian Plumbing.

(Sorry - can't do links)

This is more like the type I have.
