Bath Panels

I'm in the process of having a new bath installed and now need to go and order some bath panels (the long side one and the one at the end). I've been reading about the pros and cons of both MDF and acrylic which seem to be the most readily available materials but can't decide which would be the best. What material do you have and has it lasted well? Any advice would be appreciated.

I'd go for acrylic, just because MDF can warp if it gets wet.

MDF are fine as long as you look after them. Wipe them down if they get any wet on at all, including water on the floor. Make sure that they are siliconed properly. Ours is 10 years old and still nice.
