Boiler choices

We have recently moved into our (hopefully) forever home but it has a 25 year old standard boiler with a big water tank in our bedroom. Before we moved in I assumed we would rip it out and replace it with a new combi however the water pressure isn’t great and we do have two bathrooms, some brief internet research has made me question what the best thing to do is. Some of the research suggests that a standard boiler with a water tank may be the way to go so now I am questioning my original plan….any advice would be welcome!

Yep. A pressurised hot water tank and a system boiler will give you better water pressure. Not sure whether you would need a new boiler with a pressurised tank or whether you could use rhe existing one ? Hopefully someone will pop on and be able to answer that?

We recently changed to a combi boiler, and have 2 showers and a bath.
The pressure in the showers is absolutely fine (even if they're both being used together) but the bath takes ages to run. It'll depend on how many people in your family/how much will be used simultaneously etc.

We're happy to put up with the bath taking a while to fill because a) we don't use it everyday, and b) the cost of running a combi is a lot less than running the tank we had before...

Thanks both
