Built in wardrobes. Sliding doors?

Has anyone changed the doors on a built in wardrobe. My DH ripped the old ones off very quickly but I’m really struggling to find some sliding doors which will fit. Has anyone else done this kind of thing?

I have but wouldn't fit sliding doors again. The thing you want is always in the bit you can't access because the doors are across it. You're constantly sliding the door back and forth to get what you want. Even worse if the wardrobe is shared. You can't get to your stuff whilst your partner's getting their stuff out.

I love sliding door wardrobes (I have the Ikea ones). We had a similar setup ans a builder replaced the original doors with sliding doors from Selco. That’s not so great, it might be the quality of work/materials but it’s draggy and noisy, so it might be worth spending more. It was for a small room and we’d not have been able to have standard doors on otherwise.
The Ikea one is great and smooth.

We have a wardrobe like that but much wider (the whole end of the room) so it fits three sliding panels. Yours would be too narrow, two sliders would cut the opening in half making it hard to get anything out.
