Planning Drawings for Certificate of Lawful Development

I am hoping to have a garden room installed and had a design I liked but then I discovered that my garden falls within a conservation area. The conservation area does not benefit from an article 4 direction so I haven’t had to apply for full planning but I have applied for a lawful development certificate that certifies I have the correct rights.

As part of this, my council have requested that I supply a proposed plan, elevations, and section drawings plus a block plan of the proposed development and how it is now.

I’ve found someone who will do this for £595 plus VAT.

please could you advise me if you think that sounds reasonable? I’ve got no frame of reference. The garden room is already designed so they don’t have to do that (although it is very simple!).

Sounds like a pretty standard fee. I needed someone to start an advice process with the council and the charges were similar.
