Neighbours overhanging branches, would this be rude?

So, our neighbours had a very large brambly blackberry bush that was growing up behind their shed and over into our garden.

Been out today to see they have cleared out behind their shed and chopped back 90% of it. But theyve left all the bits overhanging into our garden which is just going to die now as I can see it chopped at the base. Is it rude to push it back so it falls back into their garden? There's a lot! I don't know why they didn't get rid of it properly unless they thought it rude to pull it back because it's growing over onto our side?

We don't know them, as they are the house the next road over and their garden runs parallel to ours, so not 'true neighbours' if that makes sense.

Yes, I would, just do it quietly so they don’t notice and make a fuss!

They probably didn’t realise there were loose bits on the other side and didn’t want to intrude your garden. Don’t think they would mind if you push the bits over to their side. But if you have a good relationship with them, they can just drop a message and let them know.
