I have lived in my current rental apartment for five years. We have made it our own little home and got furniture that fits the space well. We have a local doctors, hairdresser, dentist, know the people in the cafe and the florist etc.
We are probably going to buy in two years or so. So we decided to rent an apartment in the area we think we want to buy in. It's about 30 minutes away from here but closer to work.
Signed a 24 month lease. It's a lot more expensive but much bigger than our current place. Now the exictement of moving has gone, I just feel regret of giving up this lovely little home we rent to go for something that is bigger but just bland and low ceilinged.
