Integrated dishwasher

Paint all chipped off the side of integrated dishwasher. I put it on at night and it stays closed till the morning is there anything I can do other then sand down and repaint

No. Ours opens itself which releases some water vapour. It’s taken the paint off too but it’s been gradual over 15 years. Not ideal but we are retouching soon.

It's not the dishwasher door, but the decor panel, which is probably painted MDF, added on to match the kitchen unit doors.

It is removable, so you could take the panel off and repaint the edges if you want, or perhaps turn it upside down to display an undamaged edge. You can do the same with unit doors.

Dishwashers release a bit of steam.

I suppose you could check the door seals and the frame for wear or dirt buildup allowing steam to leak out.

Ours deliberately lets steam out! It opens the door to prevent steam turning to water on the tops of mugs etc. it’s a Miele.
