Decor help pls

I’ve bought a moss green sofa,the palace from furniture village,

and I am going round in circles trying to work out what colour to decorate the room to suit.
I have to have wallpaper on one fireplace wall due to old bumpy plaster.
its a darkish room with oak beams.. I’m swinging between green cream shades to deep blue. I’ve seen an image with one wall in deep blue sort of grey navy and I love it but hubby doesn’t.

I’d love to get some suggestions and see what others have done.

That’s a lovely sofa! I have neutral walls myself and then go a bit ott with paintings and cushions etc. This means I have winter and summer accessories.

but if a colour is your preference then navy would look good but can be a bit much on multiple walls? Other ideas would be blush pink / peaches, especially if in a floral wallpaper that has the same green of the sofa as the leaves and branches.

I have a similar colour settee. We have 3 walls painted a stone colour and one in an aubergine and stone coloured wallpaper. Coloured matched the aubergine from the wallpaper for paint and painted a wooden rocking chair

I would definitely look at blush pink or peach shades. Have a look at Farrow and Ball’s Scallop or Pink Ground (you’d find a Dulux equivalent, just to get an idea).
