Damp injections

Has anyone gotten DPC treatment done and found that it actually worked or did the mould just come back?

currently in the process of buying a property that has gotten the injections but my survey came back with high damp readings plus the plaster is peeling

Just very concerned on buying a property that will end up riddled with mould in the colder months.

The injections are a con.

Wandering around with a damp meter tells you nothing about the actual walls.

Either too much water is getting in or it's trapped and can't get out.

TBH I'd only buy if you are happy to investigate the damp and pay for the works and replastering.
