We're looking to put our house on the market but the EA DH has picked has a line in their T&Cs "XX hold keys to your property, we may loan such keys out at our discretion to surveyors and trades people acting on behalf of a purchaser".

Is this common? I've not had this when selling before, previously surveyors have called me for access, it's not been at the EAs discretion to give people our house key

We kept a key in the shed that the dog walker used and they used that. Could you put up a key safe?

I wfh so I'm always in. It's more that it says it's at the EAs discretion to give out the key.

Does this mean they don't have to check with us that it's convenient or even tell us about it?

I left a message with the EA at the start of the week asking what it means but they've not responded
