So I know I have to change my address with my bank to satisfy our lender, but do I have to change the address on the electoral roll too??

It's pretty much an automatic process as far as I recall. You'll have to sign up to pay Council Tax on your rental and that will eventually trigger a poll form to be sent to your rental home.

Yes. It should be fine for most although every individual lender may have their own specific checks. Don't worry about getting a new dress though 😄.

Do you have a driving licence also? That'll need changing and is useful as a photo id with current address.

I only have a provisional !!
The id we provided for the actual mortgage application I’m sure was passport, bank statements and council tax bills. Does passport even have your address on it??

No address on passport, but provisional licence needs updating with new address

it is a legal requirement to update your driving licence if you no longer live at an old address (and you could be fined if you don't)
