Buying in Bristol

Is it possible to buy an apartment / house in Bristol for c.£300k that is within half an hour of Temple Meads, has parking, ideally 2 bedrooms and isn't in an area that feels run down and rough? Am I being unrealistic? What areas are worth looking at?

Yes my DD is buying a lovely flat for £225, two bed, communal garden
have a look at Brislington and st Anne’s
seems to have a really nice community feel, two large nature reserves, and easy access to temple meads.
be aware that Brislington meadow is being developed though…

The obvious answer is RM search, Bristol TM station, within 1/2 mile, min 2 beds, max 300K. But you'll have done that already.

The less obvious answer is using the Area360 add-in for RM on Chrome. This will surface far more information about each home in the RM list including noise, flood risk, social deprivation, etc.

Good luck. Love Bristol.

Half an hour by train? Or car?

Or bus or on foot? Both possibly more likely if you are living in Bristol, to get to Temple Meads by bus or walking, assuming TM is for an ongoing commute or regular journey.

By any transport method - office is around the corner from temple meads so either public transport, walking or car
