i purchased my current property 2.5 years ago and we are in the process of selling. I am a shared owner and signed a licence to assign which included some wording regarding covenant's in the lease. We are now selling the home for 100% and my solicitors are arranging the deed of covenant for them, however, the company are stating they have no record of myself. The house is registered with me as a part owner and I did not sign a deed of covenant (plus was never asked to/made aware of this from my solicitor at the time). Has anyone dealt with this before? i have paid the service charges etc as it is within the rentcharge amount.
