Are these ant mounds going to damage the house?

Ants faff about the house a bit but only inside, in the kitchen, in May when it's a heatwave and they disappear with the slightly xenophobic named Nipon.

But these are doing mounds right on my porch, they look unsightly for visitors but are they actually damaging the house?
Something similar is going on on the garden steps round the back, and the ants are the usual type, not dreaded Carpenter ants singing ominously 'It's only just begun...'
Do I just sweep these up or go ballistic with ant killer?

Are these ant mounds going to damage the house?

They aren't undermining the house, and assuming you are in the UK, they are not eating it from the inside out either.

Just use some ant killer stuff if you want to.
