Any recommendations for the best decorators caulk?

Ive read so many reviews I can’t see the wood for the trees! I’m looking for one that won’t shrink and can be painted over without cracks appearing once dry. TIA

It depends on the gap you're filling. They are all obvious if it's a large (1cm or more) gap.

And can someone explain - what is caulk? I’m familiar with polyfilla and bath sealant but is caulk something different?

I really like Nemesis, from Screwfix. It’s a little more expensive but immediately paintable. I’m not a professional though, just someone who’s done shitloads of caulking in their own house. Get a good gun too.

Caulk fills gaps that might have movement in them - like around door frame or skirting boards.

I think they are all the same. If there are cracks then you are using the wrong method / type of filler.
