Where to start?

We're having some major works undertaken on our house at soon and we have to move out for the duration. The house also has to be completely emptied. We are a family of 4 with 2 young kids. To save on storage costs (money we don't have), we will have to empty the garage, which is currently full, to make space for all of our furniture and 'stuff'. We'll be able to bin some of the things we've been hoarding and there are things that can be sold/taken to the charity shop, but there's stuff we need/want to keep in there too. I feel so overwhelmed with it all and don't know where to start. I've opened the garage door, stood and stared at the contents and closed it again, more than once. DH works F/T, I work P/T and both DC are under 5. Please help me formulate a plan to get things moving.

bin bags grab a roll then stuff in any rubbish you can see without moving things to go to tip or bin
anything you can see to go to charity make a pile without moving things
anything you want to keep make another pile without moving things
now you have cleared one row then do another row the same way soon be to the back
