Buyers Solicitors Disappeared

Hi All,
i am in the process of selling my house, and our buyers solicitors raised only a few enquired. The last enquiry they raised was answered almost 3 weeks ago. Since then we have had no reply as to whether they are satisfied with the answer or if they have any further enquiries. My solicitor and my estate agent have both sent chaser emails, and have had no response. I am started to get abit worried now. Usually the buyers solicitor is quite reponsive, but has been silent for almost 3 weeks. Our buyers had another viewing a few weeks ago and left very happy and we also discussed ideal completion dates. So not sure what the issue could be. Any advice or similar experience?…

Not exactly the same but the person who was my point of contact at the solicitors just disappeared. I thought they might have gone on holiday but it was nearing two weeks since they last responded to an email so I rang and someone told me that person no longer works there! Have you or your solicitor tried ringing?

@NotNowCantYouSeeImBusy my solicitor has said she will ring them this week. Its just such a surprise, everything was goins so well and smoothly. Now the solicitors has literally stopped responding..

Fingers crossed it’s just someone forgot to set an out of office or something. Keep on at your solicitor to ring! Hope it all works out for you.

Speak to the Estate Agent and get them to speak to the buyers. The buyers instructed the solicitors so surely they are still connected even if the solicitor or EA themselves cannot get a response. I would try as it's another avenue. Are the solicitors near where you live? That all sounds so frustrating!

When buyers are thinking of pulling out, their solicitor mysteriously stops progress.
