Hi all, we've had some work completed in our house, including some additional work requested by the council in order for the building warrant to be signed off. It was a fight to get the builder to come back and complete the additional work but this was eventually done nearly a year after the initial work was completed.
As part of the sign off the council requested photographs of the wall insulation and of the foundations for a small extension (the builder had to dig up the foundations to take these photos and then fill them back in). We and the architect have both contacted the builder to ask for these photos but had no response.
Just wondering if anyone has ever had similar issues getting all the info needed for warrant sign off? I'm starting to think we are going to have to appoint another builder but I'm not sure if this is even possible! Any advice gratefully received!
