Our cheapy Ariston is being a twat (6ish? seems v young but I am used to boilers going 25 years!) - constantly needs the depressuring so somethings not right and its about the billionth thing thats gone wrong with it (And each time its faffed with it has a leak on it that self-resolves after a few days, which I do not like as a feature!)...

So doing the rounds of boilers and so on - Boxt seems good, been around a while now, very reasonable quote for a similar sort of Combi boiler...

Snags? Horror stories? I've had a look round the intertubes and can't find anything spectactularly bad!

I used them and they were fine.

My Ariston conked out after about 18 years - the last few years with all that depressuring stuff which drove me mad.

I used BOXT following recommendations on MN - they were great and all is well three years on. The new combi boiler a Worcester Bosch.

I used them too. Excellent.

Cheers - I am still yet to find any seriously worrying reviews, the worst I have come across is that as they're working to a fixed price, they don't fanny around - I really can't see the issue with that, I don't want 'em fannying around!!

They were great, good communication and great on site, had the new boiler for 15 months, and done a service without any problems.
