Best state secondary schools in Woking / Guildford area

We are looking at relocating to Woking or Guildford area. I have 2 young girls due to start school next year. Just wondering in terms of secondary schools, is Guildford or Woking a better choice. I know it’s still many more years before they attend second schools but we are really not planning to move again.

I have down selected to George abbot, Guildford county in Guildford, Hoe Valley and Woking high in Woking. Would like to hear some feedback on these schools.

You might want to ask this on one of the Education boards- not sure you will get kich help on Property/DIY :)

In this area, Catholic schools are way out in front in terms of achievement. St Peter’s in Guildford did very well last year coming within the top 15 state schools in the country (I believe).

St Peters, SJB in Woking, Salesian in Chertsey and St Andrews in Leatherhead cover all bases.

I am unsure about non Catholic schools tbh
