Help me create a dark and moody downstairs toilets.

We have a small downstairs toilet (with window) and I’m planning to paint it all over in a dark paint possibly with panelling but learning towards just all painted with tiles around sink. I’m thinking navy but then I’m drawn to Little Greene Pompeian Ash. Has anyone done the same and willing to share or show some inspiration photos? I just can’t see anything that grabs me for inspiration.

I’ve used it to give inspiration for my kitchen “use this photo to give a contemporary fresh style, don’t change the cabinets or worktops” different prompts give different results but it’s fun to try

I’ve done mine in F&B hague blue. Even the ceiling! It looks brilliant. It’s so small and pokey, I couldn’t make it look any smaller. So I went dramatic!!

On behalf of guests, please put in decent lighting.

Couple of friends each have dark & moody downstairs loos and while they look fantastic they've also gone for atmospheric lighting and I can never see a bloody thing!

Well, if you’re a mumsnetter, letting a workman use it will make it “dark and moody”…….

I also want to paint the ceiling. I like Stiffkey. What accessories have you got or tap metal etc?

To be honest, I wanted gold coloured but wasn’t prepared to change everything so left it chrome. I’ve got a really bright print on one wall and have chosen one of the colours from
the print (hot pink) and painted an ornate mirror frame the same colour. Looks pretty cool tbh! Or at least it will, when I put them on the wall 😂
